We use only the most supple bison hides for our floggers.

Lighter than bullhide, yet much heavier than cow, bison (buffalo) has a feel all it's own. The pebbly patterned and more open "grain" is the signature of this leather, and the suppleness of our choice hides adds a slappiness that you just can't find with anything else. 

Prices for bison floggers start at $135 for a small bison with 16-inch long tails, or $150 for 20" long tails and a regular bundle of tails.  The smaller flogger  is our least expensive bison flogger, with a minimum of tails of 16", for a slappier feel without thud. Light enough for those with carpal tunnel syndrome to use without the weight of larger floggers.

For additional thuddiness, you may want to consider a Baby Bison basher flogger, like the below left picture, and as described below. 

This is a 55-70 Tail Baby Bison Basher, shown to the left. The leather is thin and slappy with the same beautiful grain pattern and texture of regular bison, but waaay thuddier. It makes the best heavyweight "Basher" of any leather we know of, and can easily knock your bottom across the room, although it is eminently controllable for even smaller Tops! The gorgeous, large, triple-pineapple knot gathering the tails together is a work of art, and is exclusive to Happy Tails! This is one of our special personal favorites! Pure, dense thud that packs a punch. No sting here!

Black tails only, altho we do sometimes have chocolate bison; inquire. The exact number of tails depends on the thickness of the leather, which varies a tad from hide to hide.
